New Recipe: So gone pork tenderloin

This is a new recipe that I found on my blog roll last week. I had picked up a pork tenderloin on sale last week so it seemed like it was meant to be that we try this new recipe. It was delicious! The flavors from the marinade made for a great combination. I soaked the tenderloin overnight in the marinade and it just intensified the marinade flavor even more. Here are the step-by-step directions for making this yummy meal.

Ingredients:

1 pork tenderloin - ours was about 1 pound
2 tbsp grill seasoning
2 tbsp honey
2 tsp sesame oil
1/2 cup soy sauce (I used lite soy sauce)
2 green onions finely chopped
2 cloves minced garlic
Drizzle of vegetable oil
1/4 tsp red pepper flakes (optional, we didn't use)

Ingredients

In a shallow bowl, combine grill seasoning, honey, soy sauce, sesame oil, red pepper flakes, green onions, garlic and drizzle of vegetable oil.

Pour marinade over pork tenderloin and marinate for at least 30 - 60 minutes. We let it marinate overnight.

Heat up your grill and place the tenderloin on the hot grates and let it cook for about 7 minutes over direct heat. Turn over and let it cook another 7 minutes over direct heat. Brush with remaining marinade about every 10 minutes. Move the tenderloin to the other side of the grill and let it cook over indirect heat until thoroughly cooked (internal temp of 165 and let rest before cutting for at least 5 minutes).

Enjoy!
