Three years ago, we started a new tradition that we would create a family ornament together each year. For 2012 we made a cute thumbprint reindeer ornament. Ethan's thumbprint was so tiny!

In 2013 we made thumbprint penguins and Ethan's thumbprint had grown substantially!

Last year we made thumbprint snowmen and we got to add new thumbprints from Sofia!

This year we made thumbprint elves! I just love making these ornaments every year, it's one of my favorite traditions!
I always put them all together in the same spot on the tree so I can see how the kids fingerprints have changed!
