31 Days of Halloween: Day 19 - Glass Pumpkin Patch

Yesterday we went to the Morton Arboretum for their 3rd annual Glass Pumpkin Patch. We had never been before but it was amazing. There were so many different colors, shapes, and sizes of pumpkins. There were almost 20 different glass artists features so there was a lot of variety.

They had been on display since Wednesday but they officially went on sale yesterday at 1 pm. I didn't know how crazy it would be. People were serious about their pumpkins! You literally couldn't touch the pumpkins until 1 pm, they had a countdown and everything. People were standing with their hands hovering an inch above their chosen pumpkin during the final minutes. I was looking at two different pumpkins and ended up with one of the ones I wanted so I was happy. It looks so cute on our mantle with our other decor.

I am hoping to make this an annual tradition to go and pick out a new glass pumpkin every year and soon we'll have our own glass pumpkin patch!
