Weekend Recap

We had a nice low-key weekend. On Friday I had a fun Mommy and Ethan day with my little boy. We went to the Children's Museum again. He loves playing there and we have a family membership so I figure we better get our money's worth this Winter since we probably won't go very much during the Summer because we will want to be outside!

After the Children's Museum we picked up Dada at home to take a break from work and have some lunch. We went to Ethan's favorite place, Two Toots Grill. He loves watching the choo choos, he never wants to leave.

Friday night we had dinner with Michael's parents at a new restaurant, Lu's Sushi & Chinese. It was really yummy. They had amazing presentation with their dinners. Ethan wanted to play with the swan sculpture on Dada's plate!

After dinner we came home, put Ethan to bed and then I got to work. I got 17 Etsy orders on my store this week and I have been working my way through them every night. I got 5 orders done and ready to ship out.

Saturday we woke up and it was snowing again, ugh. I am so over Winter, can it be March already?!!

We had some breakfast and then went to Whole Foods to get some groceries and I stopped at Michael's to pick up some supplies for some Etsy orders. The rest of the day we played with Ethan and just hung out at home.

On Sunday we got up, had some breakfast, played with Ethan and relaxed.

I also did a fun Winter craft with him you'll be seeing later this week.

After craft time Ethan took a quick nap because we had a birthday party to go to at Noon and I knew he wouldn't be able to make it to 3 o'clock without a nap. We went to a birthday party for our friends' daughter who was turning 8.

The rest of the afternoon we watched football, I worked on some Etsy store things and then Michael made us a yummy Sunday dinner. He made us strip steaks, baked potatoes and salad. It was delicious!

I hope all of you had a good weekend and have a great week ahead. We have a couple busy weeks coming up but we have a weekend trip to Lake Geneva to look forward to in a few weeks, I can't wait!

  1. Your museum looks great! We have a really nice children's museum here but we hardly go because it costs a fortune. Every time we have been I remind my husband we could buy a Disney ticket for the price of us to go to the museum! Hehe

    1. That's crazy! We have a membership and it's only $100 a year so if you only go 3 or 4 times it makes it worth it.
