New Years Eve Recap

Happy New Year everyone! I hope all of you are having a good start to 2014! This year we spent New Year's at Dave and Busters. They had a family event from 5 - 8 that had food, lots of arcade games and a magician and balloon artist for the kids. We met up with Rich, Tif, Jacob, Makayla, Tif's parents, Ken and Kat. 

We ate some dinner when we got there and then went and played games most of the time. Ethan was still too young to play a lot of the games but he still had fun watching and running around.

We got Ethan a huge ball with all of our ticket winnings and he and Makayla had fun playing with it.

Ethan was getting pretty overwhelmed with all of the lights and the sounds so we went back to the main room to hang out for a while and to get Ethan a balloon from the balloon artist. While I was in line to get Ethan a balloon, Michael texted me that he was going to be sick and wanted to leave. I got Ethan bundled up and we unfortunately headed out earlier than planned. 

When we got home, I got Michael some Tums and some ginger ale to see if we could get him feeling better while Ethan had fun playing for a little bit before bed.

Ethan went to bed around 8 and Michael started feeling a little better too. We just relaxed the rest of the night and watched some movies before counting down to 2014. I hope all of you had a great New Years Eve too!
