DIY House Project: Loft Craft Desk Reveal!

My new favorite space in the house is finally complete and it's quite the transformation!

Before - bench landing area

After - A beautiful functional desk!

I am so happy with the finished product, it's even better than I expected. Michael and his Dad did a fabulous job installing everything. It feels like the desk was meant to be here all along. It's a much better use of space than the bench and it takes up exactly the same footprint. Here are some more photos of all the details.

Love the Brazilian Cherry floor!

Upper cabinet still with room to grow

All of my small craft pieces work great in these mason jars- they are cheap storage too, less than $1 each!

Upper right cabinet still with plenty of room!

It's so nice to have my Silhouette cutter out and ready for use at all times now, I added a dust cover to protect it.

I found this awesome spinning carousel holder for all my markers, scissors, etc at Michaels.

We added under cabinet lighting for some extra working light and I added a little chalkboard garland for inspiration!

The drawers are awesome because they pull all of the way out.

In the opening where I put my chair I have a ribbon holder and garbage can.

Bottom cabinets I have paper storage and embellishment storage in the drawers.

Sorted by Season/Holiday of course!

Right side bottom cabinet, plenty of room still.

I'm seriously in love with this space and love working there. We got it finished just in time too because I just got some new Etsy orders in my store!

Here's a breakdown of where we got all of the materials :

Brazilian Cherry Flooring: Lumber Liquidators
Cabinets & Handles: IKEA
Countertop: IKEA
Office Chair: Office Max
Paper Cubes, Ribbon Holder, Carousel, Sorting Drawers: Michaels
Garbage Can & Mason Jars: Meijer
Under Cabinet Lights: CostCo
