Kitchen Re-Decorating Project

I mentioned in our weekend recap that we were starting a kitchen re-decorating project this week. We will be in our house for 5 years next month and we are just ready for a change. We originally painted the walls a pretty dark almost terracotta color to go with our Tuscan inspiration. But we've gotten pretty sick of it so we are lightening the color and switching out curtains and other accessories. We're pretty excited for the change.


Here are some before pictures of our kitchen. These were taken a year apart that's why the tables are different.

Our painter is here today getting the paint finished. We went with a creamy, butter yellow from Benjamin Moore called Popcorn Kernel. I can't wait until its done to see how different our kitchen looks!

We will be working the next week or so installing new curtains and wall decor items, but as soon as it's finished, I will be sure to post pictures!
