Apple Picking 2013

I mentioned yesterday in our weekend recap that we went apple picking this weekend. This year we went back to a place we hadn't been since 2011, All Seasons Apple Orchard. They've added a lot of new and fun things for the kids to do outside of apple picking. We had so much fun and it was the most beautiful day, it was perfect. We went with Rich, Tif, Jacob, Makayla, Tif's Mom, Ken and Kat. We went mostly to pick Honeycrisp apples and they did not disappoint, it was a great crop this year. The only bad thing were the bees. They seemed extra aggressive this year and Tif unfortunately even got stung. Other than that we had a great day and the kids loved it.

They had some model trains set up and of course our train-loving kids were glued to watching them

They have a cute cow train that the kids went on. It was Ethan's first ride by himself. He liked it until he started slipping in his seat.

Jacob and Makayla checked out the jumping pillow, Ethan will have to wait till next year for this one!

Such a fun family day. Our Fall festivities have officially begun!
