Good-bye 2014!

The last day of the year is here and I have to say 2014 has been one of my favorites, but it went by way too fast! There have been so many wonderful things to celebrate this year for our family. Here are some of our top moments from 2014:

January

Ethan had his very first snow day!

We got the biggest shock of our life and found out I was pregnant!

February

We became members of the Shedd Aquarium and Ethan's love for Whales and all things marine life was born!

We had our first check-up for the baby and everything looked good!

March

Ethan discovered how much fun it is to jump in puddles!

We spilled the beans on our big secret and Ethan's promotion!

April

Ethan moved out of his crib into a big boy bed!

Ethan had his first Easter egg hunt!

Think pink! Ethan was getting a little sister!

My little man was so cute on Easter!

May

We celebrated Ethan's 2nd birthday!

We had an amazing 2 week vacation in Florida!

My belly was growing and we officially decided on a name: Sofia Marie

June

We became and aunt and uncle for the fourth time and welcomed our niece Violet!

We had lots of fun family adventures!

We started getting the nursery ready for Sofia's arrival.

July

Ethan showed a lot of interest in soccer.

We celebrated the Fourth of July at Michael's parents' lake house.

August

We continued our fun outdoor adventures!

We had a day out with Thomas!

September

Ethan saw his first Dolphin show!

We began all of our fun Fall family outings!

October

Our beautiful princess Sofia made her grand entrance into the world!

Ethan became a big brother and we became a family of four!

Ethan absolutely fell in love with his little sister!

We went pumpkin picking for the first time as a family of four!

Our princess is 1 month!

December

Our little girl turned 2 months!

We did so many fun holiday activities!

Michael and I got away for a romantic weekend in Lake Geneva.
