Happy 2012 everyone! I love the start of the New Year. It's a clean slate and a new beginning. It's fun to try and predict what will happen over the course of the following 12 months, look forward to things you know are going to happen and wonder what unexpected events will pop up!
Here are the things we are most looking forward to in 2012:
1. Starting to work on our little boys nursery in January
2. Our Babymoon trip to Florida in February
3. Our baby shower in March
4. Our little boy's arrival in May
5. My first Mother's Day in May
6. Our 4th wedding anniversary in May
7. Michael's first Father's Day in June
8. Celebrating our nephew Jacobs' second birthday in June
9. Taking our little boy apple picking and pumpkin picking for the first time in September and October
10. Celebrating our nieces' Makayla and Lily's first birthdays in September and October
11. Our little boy's first Halloween in October
12. Our little boy's first Thanksgiving and Christmas in November and December
As far as New Year's resolutions, this is the first time in 2 years that my resolution isn't to get pregnant. We are so blessed to have this little boy on the way in 2012. I honestly couldn't ask for anything more. My only New Year's resolution is to be the best Mommy I can possibly be!
