Weekend Recap

We had a great weekend! On Friday we celebrated Valentine's Day and I am so lucky to have 2 Valentine's! Ethan came downstairs to his bucket with some fun surprises! He is obsessed with Daniel Tiger right now so that was the theme.

After opening presents and some breakfast we headed out to have a fun family day at the Children's Museum. Michael had never been before so he wanted to check it out with us. He had so much fun watching Ethan run around like a wild man exploring the museum. We had a lot of fun.

Friday night we decided to make our Valentine's dinner at home. We made one of our favorites, sesame chicken and fried rice. It was so yummy and the perfect way to cap off our Valentine's Day.

Saturday we didn't do a whole lot. We hung out at home most of the day and then met up with Rich, Tif, Jacob and Makayla for dinner. We hadn't seen them in a long time since they were in Florida so it was nice to see the kids and give them their Valentine's gifts and catch up.

On Sunday we had breakfast and played in the morning and then my sister Arla, Teddy and Lily came over. Ethan was so excited to see Lily. They have so much fun playing together. They had a ball running around and playing for a long time. Then we went to lunch.

Love this picture of them on the horse and Lily holding on to Ethan!

After lunch we headed home and Arla, Teddy and Lily headed home because it was nap time for both kids. The rest of Sunday Michael worked some and I did some things around the house. Michael made us bacon wrapped pork tenderloin and potatoes for dinner, it was really yummy!

I hope all of you had a great weekend and a speedy week ahead!
