Weekend Recap

I can't believe it's already April, this year is just flying by. We had a very relaxing weekend, it was really nice. We need to enjoy these last month of just Michael and I before our little man makes his arrival. Speaking of our little man, on Friday I had a doctor's appointment and everything is looking good. His heart rate was good and all of my numbers were good as well. Ethan is still breech and if he's still breech in 2 weeks, we will be scheduling a c-section for around 39 weeks. We'll see how everything plays out but its pretty exciting to think that he could be here in 4 short weeks! We are ready for him to come, his nursery is complete all of his clothes are washed, our bags our packed for the hospital and all of the things we got at our baby shower are put together and waiting. We also have his car seat ready to go in my car.

After my doctor's appointment it was back to work the rest of the day. Friday night we had dinner and hung out with Rich, Tif, the kids and Ken.

On Saturday we got up and had a lazy morning. We just relaxed, had some breakfast and watched tv. We met up with Rich, Tif, the kids and Ken for some lunch and then headed back to Rich and Tif's. For some reason the guys decided they wanted to build a craps table so they headed to get supplies. Tif and I hung out  and played with the kids while they worked. In a couple of hours they had a working craps table. They were pretty proud of their handiwork!

We couldn't stay and play too long since we were watching Miss Lily. We headed down to Arla and Teddy's so they could have a date night out. 

Lily is loving her exersaucer right now. She loves to make the music and lights turn on in the little lizard. She was happy as a clam in here. We played for an hour or so and then it was time for a bottle and bed. She passed out right away like a good girl. We talked with Arla and Teddy for a while when they got home and then we were on our way home.

On Sunday we were supposed to take our maternity pictures, but it was pretty crappy out so we're going to hold off a couple of weeks and hope for better weather. We had some breakfast and just relaxed before heading out to do some shopping. I had some returns at Carters that I needed to bring in from my shower. I also had a 25% coupon and some gift cards burning a hole in my pocket. I of course found plenty of cute things for our little man and I didn't spend a dime thanks to sales and gift cards!

After shopping and then some lunch we headed home and both took a nap. After we woke up we headed to Whole Foods to do our grocery shopping for the week. When we got home and started putting things away, Michael got the cleaning bug and we did a clean sweep in the kitchen. We cleaned out the fridge, freezer, pantry and almost all of our kitchen cabinets! We needed to make some space for Ethan items like bottles, pacifiers, spoons, bowls, etc. Once we got started we just kept going cabinet by cabinet.

We still have 6 cabinets left and we have 2 closets we want to clean and organize before Ethan comes. So hopefully we'll be able to tackle those this week and this weekend. I'm off of work on Thursday and Friday this week so I should be able to get it done. After our cleaning spree we had some dinner and just relaxed the rest of the night. I'm very excited to only have to work 3 days this week and for Easter next weekend! We have lots of festivities planned for next weekend.
