Sofia's World: 7 months

7 months little girl! You are so much fun right now! You are sitting up all on your own and you rarely fall over anymore. You love playing with all of your toys and are just so happy! You've had a few more crabby days this month because of those rotten teeth trying to come through. There are still no signs of teeth coming through but I hope they make their appearance soon so you get some relief. Even with the teething pain, you are still one of the happiest babies I've ever seen. You babble like crazy and recently have started screaming and screeching. You are still drooling like crazy and put anything and everything in your mouth, including your thumb but I'm trying to put an end to that. You really like to stand and love being in any kind of jumpy jump and we've been having you stand and hold on to the ottoman to get your legs stronger. You are not crawling yet, which I am surprised, but you will do it on your own time. You can spin yourself around on all fours a full 360 degrees but you just haven't moved forward yet. I just love you so much little girl. You are such a joy to be around and watching you grow is so much fun. I can't wait to see what amazing things you are up to next month. We love you so much!

Weight:
At your six month appointment you were 16lbs 11oz and in the 55%!

Height:
At your six month appointment you were 28" long and in the 95%!

Clothing Size:

You are wearing 9, 12 and 6-12 months in clothes depending on the brand.

Diapers:
You are wearing size 3 Pampers and they are fitting you well.

Feeding:

You eat your formula on a regular schedule of 5 times a day and 6 oz at each feeding, the same since you were 4 months old. You are eating your purees like a champ and there hasn't been anything you didn't like, which is wonderful. We've moved on to the Stage 2 food blends and you really love them. We've tried puffs and you are starting to grab them and get them to your mouth. They don't actually make it in all the time but you are getting the motions down. I think we'll be starting some real food in the next month or so since you are always so interested in what we're eating.

Hair/Eyes:

You have beautiful blonde hair and it has grown a lot this month. We might have pigtails this Summer, HA! You still have beautiful blue eyes like Daddy!

Sleep:
Sleep has mostly been good, a few nights with a few wake ups because of your teeth but most nights you sleep 11 hours on the button. You typically go to bed around 6:30 - 7 after story time with Ethan and you sleep until 5:30  - 6 in the morning. You take 2 naps a day, usually 2 hours in the morning and 3 hours in the afternoon. Keep it up little girl!

Fun Stuff You Did This Month:

Bye Bye Whale Tub
You are officially out of your infant tub. You were just way too tall for it. Both your head and your legs were sticking out from it! We still have to be careful to make sure you don't topple over, but you like sitting up in tub much more than being in the infant tub. You like playing with the bath toys and especially love taking baths with your big brother!

Big girl car seat and sitting in high chairs and carts
We have officially ditched your infant carrier and moved you into your big car seat. You really seem to love it. You fall asleep in it almost every day during one of our trips so it must be more comfortable! You also started sitting in high chairs at restaurants and carts at stores. You are so happy to be out and looking around at everything!

First Easter
We celebrated your first Easter and it was so fun! You got so many fun things from the Easter Bunny and from your family. You looked so pretty in your Easter dress! We had a great time celebrating and I can't wait until next year when you will be running around with your brother and cousins during the egg hunts!

Your first year month-by-month
