Weekend Recap

We have had such a great family weekend! On Friday we went to Goebbert's pumpkin patch for our annual trip. This is our 5th year there. I will be doing a full post this week with a ton of pictures, but here are a couple of my favorites:

Friday night we grabbed some dinner and brought it over to Rich and Tif's. We ate, hung out and played with the kids.

Saturday was all about Miss Lily and her big day! Unfortunately she had a rainy day for her 1st birthday party but everything was colorful and festive inside! Arla and Teddy did a great job, it was a great party. Good food, cute decorations and a very cute birthday girl. I took a lot of pictures! 

Gramma and Papa got there a little early and gave Lily her gift, a cute chair from Pottery Barn, she loved it!

We got there a little early so we got to take a cousins picture too with Lily and Ethan. We also gave Lily her gift, a wagon since it was so big and took up too much room in the house. She loved it!

Once people started arriving and the food came, we had lunch. Everything was delicious. They got barbecue chicken, beef, mostaccioli, salad and my mom made baked beans. They had delicious cupcakes for dessert.

Then it was time to sing Happy Birthday to the birthday girl and watch her eat her cupcake. She did not disappoint, she demolished her cupcake!

And then her cousin Carson got too close and he got painted with frosting!

After cake it was present time! She is a very loved little girl she got all kinds of new toys and clothes!

On Sunday I made us breakfast - french toast, hash browns and sausage. We also made food for football Sunday. Michael made buffalo chicken dip and I made french bread pizzas. 

Ethan got some Auntie Tif time in when Jacob and Makayla when down for their naps.

We left around 5 to come home for Ethan's late afternoon nap. We just relaxed and watched football the rest of the night. It was a great weekend and we have another one coming up next weekend! I hope all of you had a good one too!
