Today instead of venturing out at 4 am to buy a $50 laptop or get a doorbuster for 50% off footie pajamas, we ventured out to pick our fresh Christmas tree. This is our third year getting a real tree. I had never had one until we bought our own home. We always had faux trees in the Ebeling household. I love having a fresh tree. The smell is amazing and it really doesn't create the mess people make it out to be. As long as you keep your tree watered, you shouldn't have any problems; plus there are specific varieties of trees that are known for better needle retention.
So here she is, the 2009 Dworianyn Christmas Tree! I can't wait to see her all dressed up with lights and ornaments! Oh, and by the way, I've decided Christmas trees are girls because they get all dressed up, wear skirts, sparkle like crazy and they love presents close by!!
